Janet and John Copestake - A Bit Of Information About Them

In July 2010 as most people know they were awarded a high standard full certificate involving several fields of mediumship at the Ramsbergsgården Spiritual School in Sweden. Colin Fry and Jane Lyzell were two of their mentors and were on the panel that evaluated them in their final exams. Seldom are certificates given due to a demanded high level of accuracy and requirements.

In September the same year, Colin Fry while delivering messages at the Cheltenham Town Hall acknowledged Janet and John as excellent mediums and the fact they had been awarded a full certificate at Ramsbergsgården Spiritual School in Sweden and that there are only seven awarded certificates up to this day and they have one each.

Remembering Colin Fry

In 2005 Janet and John Copestake went to see Colin Fry at GL1 in Gloucester for an evening of clairvoyance. After the demonstration they both queued up to meet Colin Fry and anticipation grew as they waited in line. Colin signed their brochure and there was also literature laid out advertising a Spiritualist College in Ramsbergsgarden, Sweden, a place where Colin taught mediumship and had courses in all forms of mediumship. Colin invited both Janet and John to his college (Ramsbergsgården Spiritual School), so both Janet and John decided to book a course in the November of 2005.

By this time both Janet and John had been sitting in circle and working at spiritualist churches and centres locally and further afield. However they both wanted to learn more, feeling they needed to develop their gifts even further.

They fell in love with the Ramsbergsgården and felt at home and after the first course, they eagerly booked for another course for the following February. At that point then, Janet and John Copestake started working towards certification for their mediumship together, all over a period of five years. Their holidays were spent in Sweden with like-minded people, as well as Colin they were tutored by other mediums and teachers.

Then in 2010 something magical happened, both Janet and John were awarded medium certification. At that time both Janet and John were one of seven people worldwide who had been awarded a certificate of such a high standard.

This certificate covers all aspects of mediumship. They both felt truly honoured to have received such a prestigious certificate. Colin Fry stated that he had known people who had worked towards this certification and had put fifteen years plus of hard work and study, but still did not make the grade.

Janet and John Copestake attained that high standard over a period of five years, making Colin Fry a very proud tutor and friend.

In 2015 Colin Fry passed to the world of spirit, he was a true ambassador for mediumship worldwide and he left a legacy of such good work and has helped thousands of people across the globe gain a better understanding of mediumship and connections with our loved ones on the other side of life.

Now in 2022 Janet and John continue with their development, they have always said that the development of a medium is ongoing. There is never a finishing line that you cross.

There have been many pioneers in the spiritualist movement and Colin Fry has joined that very prestigious line. Janet and John always stress mediumship isn’t a cure for grief, neither should the development of a medium be considered a quick fix, for development and learning are always ongoing.

Colin Fry, A Man With An Amazing Gift

Five years ago today this amazing man passed to spirit. He was our mentor and friend, a man who gave of himself to help others. 

A man with an amazing gift, he encouraged us both, he helped many others also. When you were in his presence you felt uplifted, we both remember also his great sense of humour, we love this photo as it shows his personality and warmth. 

We first met Colin back in 2005, then we obtained our mediumship certification in 2010 in Sweden. An incredible soul, who is very much missed.

Update 02/02/2017 - Our Thoughts

We have been incredibly busy for a while now and we apologise for not posting anything lately. 

John has been busy doing VIP readings all over the UK and this has allowed him to stay in several nice hotels and to enjoy a bit of travelling.

It is a huge privilege and we feel very grateful to have spent so many years training under several top mediums and to have achieved the highest standard certification (Ramsbergsgården Spiritual School - ICSSH and RSS) in all the fields of mediumship. This achievement has opened doors to the both of us. Several magazines like Chat It's Fate contacted us so that several interviews were published and we were also featured on The Moore Show. We cannot wait for even better things to come our way. 

Our advice to everyone out the wishing to work for Spirit is to attend a renowned college to become more acquainted with your gifts, so that you can help people. If you want to do well, just be true to yourself and the work will follow. 

As you know Janet hasn't been well over the last three years, but she is now on remission and we are both looking forward to having new experiences working for the world of Spirit. 

Remember to love life and live. The greatest gift that anyone can receive is the light itself.
