Life Phases, Grieving Process and What Makes A Difference

When we lose someone close to us we can feel lost and alone. During the grieving process we seem to go into automatic pilot mode, making the necessary arrangements, tying up loose ends, and finalising details.

Some people say they can’t cope and wonder where they get their strength from. Grief is a process that we all go through upon the loss of a loved one, we lose sleep and we can’t make sense of things.

Grief isn’t something that has a time frame on, it isn’t as though we wake up one morning and that sadness has passed. Time is needed, even when we lose a pet, our pets are also our family members bringing unconditional love and companionship.

Some people may visit a bereavement councillor. Some people may contact a medium. Some people may not want to talk to anybody. We are all different, we all have different personality traits and that is what makes the human race unique. For if we were all the same what a boring world this would be.

In life people can be outgoing and gregarious, some people are shy and introverted. Some people can literally talk for ‘England’, some are quiet and think things through before they speak. So when our loved ones come through they come through with their personalities, they want to let us know that they are okay, that they have been reunited with their loved ones and friends and that life lives on in another dimension.

We have heard people say that they have visited mediums and clairvoyants and their loved ones have never come through. Then others visit mediums and clairvoyants frequently and their loved ones come through all the time. This can happen sometimes when a medium cannot make a connection, however it is always best for the medium to be honest and to say to the sitter that unfortunately they have been unable to connect.

Very often our loved ones make a connection directly to their friend or family member, such as dream visitation, or they send signs that they are close by. Grief is a natural process, there will be many tears and feelings of disbelief.

Move through the grieving process at your own pace, play some music and maybe watch a film. Go for a walk, get out and about, take up that offer of a cup of tea and a chat.
Always know that your loved ones are just a thought away.

Family

Family is important to us all. Unfortunately for some of us we only realize how important our family is to us when it’s too late to say our Goodbyes. Many people having experienced loss of this kind then experience grief and loss and have a feeling of regret for things not said to our loved ones when they were this side of life, and very often many people affected like this visit mediums.

Some may say we can’t choose our family, some may say family means everything. Some may say we are all one family anyway.

It is very important to do your very best to make amends if you have had a falling out with a friend or family member. Try not to hold on to bitterness and sadness, very often words can be said in the heat of the moment, and things can get out of hand.

Maybe put into words how you feel, express any negative thoughts and feelings on paper first. Then take time to notice how you feel, already you have begun the healing process. Then when you feel confident take some time to pick up the phone and have a chat. Then hopefully things can progress and you can move forward with positivity, leaving anything negative that may have happened in the past.

Listen to the track “The Living Years” by Mike and The Mechanics. The lyricist possibly had experiences that were left to get out of hand, then unfortunately a loved one passed away and what was left was regret and remorse.

Mediumship isn’t a cure for grief and Mediums are not fortune tellers. A medium will give their time to you to help in the healing process upon the loss of a loved one. We all have freewill that is one of the greatest gifts we were given. However let us all look out for each other, in this fast moving world we seem to be in a rush and very often neglect ourselves. Be kind to yourself, set some time aside to go for a walk, to listen to some music, enjoy your life and the time spent with family and friends.

If you would like to book a reading with Janet and John Copestake, please do not hesitate to contact them today, they will be looking forward to hearing from you.

Positive Thoughts Will Produce Positive Outcomes

Life is not a bed of roses. Don’t throw pebbles in a pond because it won’t make any difference.

Try to sort out what requires your immediate attention and everything else that seems to be producing outcomes that you are not expecting.

Solace and privacy allow people to think clearer, so going for a stroll every now and then helps to clear your thoughts and worries so that you can feel lighter and enlightened.

Should you feel the inclination for spiritual support from people that can put your mind to ease and provide healing on request, please give us a call or send us an email. Our contacts are available on the contacts section of our Official Blog.

Going back to throwing pebbles into a pond, don’t expect the ripples to produce any magical apparitions or answers to your tribulations. Instead of throwing the pebbles try to think things through before you get to the stage you are at, so that you can avoid down moments and feeling wound up.

Friends and family can sometimes be the people that we turn to as they are the ones that understand us the best, but please try to think for yourself as you feel a more rewarding outcome when things are settled once and for all.

Don’t blame anyone for anything that might have happened, but rather learn from the situations that got you thus far. Grief and heartache are said to be components that strengthen our personality and our capacity to cope with adversity.

Don’t be a shut in, share moments, happy thoughts with your loved ones on the earth plane and on the other side of life.

Quote Of The Day

Patience

In life we get impatient, we want things to happen and we want things to fall in our laps. How often do you hear people saying “I wasn’t born with patience”. We tend to rush through life, and we get impatient when things don’t happen as we wish they would.

Try to set yourself goals, but try to pace yourself, sure in the knowledge that you are taking some time out for yourself. Be kind to yourself, don’t push yourself too hard. In the dark days of winter try not to wish your life away, in the desire for spring, and the brighter days ahead. For without those days in the winter months we would never fully appreciate the beauty and majesty of spring and summer. Beauty is all around us if we only look.

Notice in the spring how the crocuses and daffodils begin to peer through the frozen earth. They begin to sprout through the earth with the snow and ice surrounding them, but they grow stronger in their quest to continue with their growth, then they appear fully in all their glory. The crocuses bathed in a purple glow and the daffodils abundant with green leaves and yellow trumpet like blooms.

Notice in the summer how the roses blossom and grow, the sun bathes us in warmth and makes us feel happy and content. People have smiles on their faces, we are more carefree. We open our windows and feel the gentle summer breeze upon us. We hear the dawn chorus of the birdsong singing their beautiful song. The moon at night bathes us in its gentle calming light.

Notice in the autumn how the leaves begin to turn beautiful shades of orange and brown. The autumn sunlight casts its light onto the leaves and the days begin to get shorter and the nights begin to turn darker. Leaves begin to rustle as children walk along the country lanes walking amongst the leaves and the children’s laughter is heard far and wide.

Notice in the winter how the snow begins to fall and settles gently onto the frozen ground. The days are crisp and the nights are long. We remember times spent in front of a roaring log fire and we remember times spent with family and friends, we would visit them and drink hot chocolate and get out the photograph albums and reminisce of a time when we could all be together.

Life is a journey, not a race. Take time out not only for yourself, but extend your hand of love and friendship for people in real need. They may just want a listening ear, they would like to know that you are there for them if they need you. Pick up the telephone and speak with your family and friends. In this digital age we should try not to get too caught up in the outside world too much. Our world is our family and friends.

Modern Day Mediumship

Being a medium in today’s world and doing one’s best to raise standards isn’t always easy, but it’s not meant to be.

Many mediums have trained for many years and have been out forward for certification. So why not receive training and get tested and understand that what you do is real.

If you have a genuine natural ability then you will only shine and get better. Janet and John did and from their perspective it is definitely the right thing to do.

Love and light,
Janet and John Copestake

Quote Of The Day

"If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy over-night. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never be-tween you and them anyway.” by Mother Theresa

Secret To Find Peace

The way we go about finding serenity is not always the most straightforward one when we are trying to take a timeout from our daily routines.

Peace lies in the tiniest things in life, in feelings, positive thinking and what we experience in our daily lives. We just have to open our eyes and our hearts to feel that calmness.

The weather is one of the factors that seems to influence how we feel throughout the week. Some days we tend to be up-beat and others we feel down.

For things to improve, all we have to do is realize that without optimism we cannot find enthusiasm and what makes us happy so that we can enjoy our daily lives with a smile on our faces.

Whenever you feel you are not getting anywhere, just take a step back and think about something that thrills you. By doing that you will find the drive to achieve the peace you seek.

Life In A Couple of Lines

Believing in the immortality of the human soul brings us comfort and a sense of relief, that once we have carried out our life’s mission, we can move on and meet all those people we love so deeply and the waiting will be over.

We all have a divine purpose on this plane of existence. We are born, we learn how to communicate, we walk, we get to do amazing things, we attain a certain age and when it's time for us to move on and complete the next cycle of human evolution, life starts over.

Life is just a journey and the end of an experience in the flesh is just another evolutionary time frame in our existence. Our spirit experiences a wide range of emotions and situations when combined with our physical body that are nothing more than acquired human knowledge. We are born into in this world to be champions in our own way and when we are due to wave our goodbyes, we have attained our goal: we made a difference.

Our loved ones have had the privilege of pursuing all this previously and when they draw close it is to help us attain our goals, to help to ease up our transition from one phase to the other and share with us their life's wisdom. They know how much we want to be able to carry on with our lives knowing we did our best to strive for excellence.

The Spirit World awaits us all one day. There is no reason to be afraid of what might come our way as we start over and we are given a chance to evolve. Our loved ones will be there to welcome us with their arms wide open. Until then we just have to find bliss in the tiniest things and embrace those that make us smile.

Update 02/02/2017 - Our Thoughts

We have been incredibly busy for a while now and we apologise for not posting anything lately.

John has been busy doing VIP readings all over the UK and this has allowed him to stay in several nice hotels and to enjoy a bit of travelling.

It is a huge privilege and we feel very grateful to have spent so many years training under several top mediums and to have achieved the highest standard certification (Ramsbergsgården Spiritual School - ICSSH and RSS) in all the fields of mediumship. This achievement has opened doors to the both of us. Several magazines like Chat It's Fate contacted us so that several interviews were published and we were also featured on The Moore ShowWe cannot wait for even better things to come our way.

Our advice to everyone out the wishing to work for Spirit is to attend a renowned college to become more acquainted with your gifts, so that you can help people. If you want to do well, just be true to yourself and the work will follow.

As you know Janet hasn't been well over the last three years, but she is now on remission and we are both looking forward to having new experiences working for the world of Spirit.

Remember to love life and live. The greatest gift that anyone can receive is the light itself.

All the best,

Janet and John Copestake
