Thought Of The Day

At this time of year even though we are all busy in the run up to the festive season, please don't forget to look out for those who have very little and for those who are lonely.

Please give your time at this time of the year, especially to those who are missing loved ones, and on their own. Although it is a joyous time for most, many people struggle to move on with their lives. Our thoughts are with you.

We Are Perfect

Each and every one of us is perfect, for there is nobody just like you, for we are all different. We are who we are meant to be. We all fit in with the plan of life itself. Now we all have imperfections for that is what makes us unique. For example someone has to be the patient, just as someone has to be the doctor.

All we can do is to be kind to ourselves first and then to others. Let’s not forget the whole universe, as we are now tidying up the universe, this for some is too much to take in. Someone has to want to do it, and to take on responsibility is a good thing for all, no matter how large, no matter how small.

Just imagine that we can start by looking after a plant or an animal, by doing so this gives us a responsibility to look after something precious, therefore by doing so it gives us a reason for living. Very often we say to live a life alone is a missed opportunity, so therefore to share your life with someone is beautiful. By sharing your life with someone is so valuable, it gives an added meaning when you can share life’s dreams and ambitions with someone, as it helps to generate memories that you can share together in the future.

What is the point of sitting on your own? It is a wonderful experience to see the sun set on your own, but imagine seeing the sunset with your soulmate. The same applies to watching the TV on your own, how wonderful to curl up on the sofa on a winters evening with your soulmate.

Life is for sharing laughter and memories together, it’s so lovely if you can talk to someone and to hold hands with someone. How wonderful to share a hug with someone, whether it be your soulmate, friend or family member.

Share a smile with each and every person who comes across your pathway. Love living life each and every day, smile more often, a little bit of humour to conclude “No it’s not wind”. We are sure that if our cat could talk he would say “Life is just purrfect”.

If Our Cat Could Talk

If only our cat could talk. He greets us in the morning fussing around our feet, it’s as if he is saying “Come on feed me, my tummy is empty”. "This is my greatest need of the day! The packet opens and the sound of my delicious food going into my dish is heavenly to me. I had better lift my tail skywards to show my delight and rub my hand against my masters hand, to say “About time too”.

I believe my humans should feed me first, as I won’t sharpen my talons on their chairs. This is where they sit to eat their food. Why do I have to have my food in the kitchen, why can’t I have a place at their table?

After I have eaten enough I will then lie content on the carpet next to my parents, purring like I do. Then I may do some exploring around the House, in the conservatory and even inside a cupboard or two. If the weather is nice I may enter a space called the garden, which is my jungle space where I am a predator to small furry things such as mice and birds. I love my parents so much on occasion (more than once if I am honest) I have brought them gifts, mostly in the form of a small furry mouse or two.
I cannot understand why my parents begin to scream at me, surely they should take delight that I have decided to chase this furry rodent around their living room, this after all is a good form of exercise for me.

I am such a clever cat I have discovered how to open doors, much to the surprise of my parents who have on occasion woke up to see my eyes peering at them from the side of the bed. Why did they put some contraption called a latch on the doors? It has to be said even though I am a smart cat, I am yet to discover how to get past this obstacle.

I also enjoy supper, I may decide to jump up behind them at their table contraption, even though I have devoured mine, they may in their glorious kindness give me a morsel. I am partial to chicken, fish and steak.

That is about my day, after all this excitement during the day I will then jump onto my parents lap and have a cat nap, whilst doing this I will make sure that I breathe some of my fishy cat breath onto them, after all it’s all about sharing the love.

This is my favourite time of the day, my parents settle down in the evening and lay their healing hands on my tummy tum-tum.

I may be a cat and be called many things, but I am always an angel, I am sure my parents know and understand this. I am in heaven as I receive healing and have cuddles with my parents.

This is my Blog and I hope you enjoy it. Meow Tigger

Some Feel Good Tips

Take your dog or cat out for a walk and look how excited they get. It certainly works for us.

We always look forward to spring and summer, to feel the sun on our shoulders is a sure way of making us feel good.

Treat oneself to a pamper day, it could be having a facial, manicure or pedicure.

Why not go for a new look, maybe a different hair colour if you can. If you aren’t able to treat yourself to a new outfit, then why not treat yourself to a new accessory, such as a scarf, or a new hat.

Make time to read a book, maybe try to set aside 2 hours during the week. This will serve to expand and broaden our imagination.

Also make a list of activities that you would like to do, it’s always nice to set yourself goals, it doesn’t have to be something big, just start by setting yourself a small goal, then when you can move onto other things. It’s always nice to have things to look forward to.

Invite friends round for dinner, then set aside time after to maybe play cards/quizzes and board games, or maybe have yourself a music quiz, it will give you a real blast of the past.

I’m sure you have all heard of how animals have saved people’s lives. Take time to experience the bond of love that we share with our pets, for it is the universal bond of love. We can all learn from them.

Also try to remember to smile more, even if you can’t find the right words to say, just give your friends and neighbours a smile.

Let us all try to do this for ourselves and by doing so you will feel better about yourself too.

Personal Responsibility

Some may say “We are just perfect”, however some may say “Nobody is perfect”.

It is important to take time to think whose standards are we going by anyway. Let us say that we are all different in so many ways. So therefore we must all be perfect in every aspect of the word.

Many of us apologise for our own wrong doings, so we should all now start to believe in ourselves from this moment onward.

All of us share this Earth with over seven billion inhabitants, so we should say to ourselves “Who gets it right all the time?”

We all know that there is a problem with so many things that is wrong in this world. However we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves, but we should have more faith in our own potential and endeavour to live life to its fullest. Light is love so let us all live in the light.

Reflections, Inspired Words and Advice

We come into this world without a stitch of clothing on. This means we start with a clean slate. What we do is up to us.

We are not machines and we all have choices, so we are not to blame anyone for our future actions and our choices. This implies that we must take responsibility for what we do. Responsibility is good for us all.

In time we learn how animals give us unconditional love. The right thing to do is to give them love in return.

Learn to live life. Have some fun. Get out and meet people, enjoy each and every day.

Light is love and love is light. Life is a blessing and a gift.

Questions Of The Day - Auras

What are auras, and what do they mean? Does everyone have an aura? Very often people ask us questions such as these.

An aura is the energy field that surrounds a person, and according to how we are feeling at the time it can depict what is going on in our life at that particular time.

Sometimes a psychic or medium can see these colours clairvoyantly and they are able to give information relating to the person in front of them.

Our Individual Well Being Is Important

One thing you should always keep in mind, is to trust yourself. Never give up before you reach the finish line, because you will never know what you’ve missed by withdrawing yourself from the equation at an early stage. Unfinished chapters leave an empty feeling inside us, which take a while to go away.

We should never deprive ourselves from fulfilling important life tasks as we will be preventing ourselves from growing and feeling brand new as each chapter is drawn to a close.

Self-growth is extremely important to create a layer of positive energy around each and every one of us.

Just put the thought out to obtain enlightenment and the lights around you shall not go out. All people that have gone before will send you love and support by the means of spiritual healing.

Start your journey tomorrow by taking a step towards your own fulfillment and remember to surround yourself by people that will lift you higher.

John's Thoughts of The Day

It came to me that I would share some of my thoughts for our Blog. So this is who I am and I am sharing this with those who take the time to read it.

I seek adventure and I still like a drink (not too much though). Deep inside I feel, that is my little reward for helping others at the end of the day. I love laughter and anything light-hearted, such as films like trains, planes and automobiles, “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” (or) even Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses.

I love laughter, maybe that’s why many people say I don’t look my age. Feeling good is part of my daily routine. I feel when I see people laugh, they always look younger, for it’s a quick way of forgetting life’s struggles. People often asked me what I do experience when I help to heal people.
The answer is simple, I feel upliftment, and gratitude that I was able to be blessed with this wonderful gift, and to be able to do it in the first place. I have never done this for myself, for I know I am only the vessel, the instrument for healing to be able to take place. So here are my tips for a happy life:

  • To laugh more and to show off your laughter lines for they are beautiful.
  • Feel good by playing and listening to music that will lift you. For myself I like “Don’t worry be happy”, the theme tune from The Mission (or) "I feel good" by James Brown.
  • Don’t hold back if you want to dance, just do it.
  • To finish off why not take a look at our YouTube Channel, start with my birthday video clip.
To summarize mix more, do what you want to do. Live life and let yourself be happy.

Remember death is the greatest lie. We all have memories don’t we. Good ones and happy ones. These are the memories we should hold on to.

Join us on our journey together, today and always, for we care for each and every person who come to us for healing and reading sessions.

Memories of Our Mentor and Tutor – The Reverend Colin Fry

The 25th of August marks three years since our friend and mentor The Reverend Colin Fry passed to the higher side of life. We first met Colin in 2005 at Gloucester Leisure Centre (GL1) where he was demonstrating his mediumship.

Colin told us about his spiritualist college in Sweden called (RamsbergsgÃ¥rden Spiritual School) and invited us over. We fell in love with the place and the country soon after. For the next five years we began working in earnest towards certification of our mediumship together, which we achieved in July 2010 with Colin’s guidance and support.

He helped us both immensely by giving us advice and criticism on how to better develop our gifts. It was an immense pleasure to work alongside him and to spend so much time in his company.

Colin was an amazing teacher and mentor. He spent his free time with us and other college students as he wasn’t the sort of medium to shut himself away. Everyone who was in his presence felt at ease.

We saw first-hand how Colin gave his time to help people. He had an aura about him that exuded compassion, love, understanding and warmth.

When we heard that he was seriously ill we sent him love and we said our prayers that he would get through his illness. Sadly he passed onto the higher side of life, but his legacy lives on through us and everyone he came in contact with.

We will always value his love and support.

In the words of Colin Fry – “Death is the greatest lie.”

Love and Light,
Janet and John Copestake

Healing Words

"We have been blessed with a lovely gift that enables us to help the many that have come to us.

Our aim is to make a difference in people’s lives, to be able to reach out to people by vocalising healing words. John and I want to help, to give hope where it is needed, confidence, comfort and most of all love to all those in need of guidance and inspiration.

We hope that we can show you the light of hope and encouragement. To give you the lift you need when you feel as if the world is against you. Sometimes we can all get caught up in life and its troubles, and we very often wonder who we can turn to during difficult times.

Whenever possible take some time out to listen to some music, read a book, take a walk in the countryside or do anything that makes you feel good. That will help you to appreciate simple and enjoyable moments. If possible, share some of these moments with your loved ones." by Janet and John Copestake

Commencement Of The Healing Process

A lot of people say that we have to cope with what life throws at us, but longing and grief should be dealt with in a different manner.

No one should tell you to put grief to one side, because we are ruled by our hearts and mind most of the time, so humanly speaking it's impossible to just give it up for good.

We will have to deal with it at some stage in our lives; sometimes it's better sooner than later.

In this day and age we either haven't got enough information on how to make this situation better or we haven't got courage to make an effort to see if we can find a reason to smile again.

There's a way to turn it around and you mustn't wait any longer, as Janet and John Copestake are husband and wife mediums and can help with the commencement of the healing process, and will do their best to answer your questions and connect with your loved ones that passed away.

You can either dial 07580 957 437 or send them an e-mail to jcandjc@jjcopestake.co.uk and they will reply to you as soon as possible.
