We always look forward to spring
and summer, to feel the sun on our shoulders is a sure way of making us feel
good.
Treat oneself to a pamper day, it could be having a facial, manicure or pedicure.
Why not go for a new look,
maybe a different hair colour if you can. If you aren’t able to treat yourself
to a new outfit, then why not treat yourself to a new accessory, such as a
scarf, or a new hat.
Make time to read a book, maybe try to set aside 2 hours during the week. This will serve to expand and broaden our imagination.
Also make a list of activities that you would like to do, it’s always nice to set yourself goals, it doesn’t have to be something big, just start by setting yourself a small goal, then when you can move onto other things. It’s always nice to have things to look forward to.
Invite friends round for dinner, then set aside time after to maybe play cards/quizzes and board games, or maybe have yourself a music quiz, it will give you a real blast of the past.
I’m sure you have all heard of how animals have saved people’s lives. Take time to experience the bond of love that we share with our pets, for it is the universal bond of love. We can all learn from them.
Also try to remember to smile more, even if you can’t find the right words to say, just give your friends and neighbours a smile.
Let us all try to do this for ourselves and by doing so you will feel better about yourself too.
