Thoughts of Christmas

Christmas is a time for family and friends to come together, to share precious time together, to give gratitude and thanks for the many blessings that life gives us.

Let us all be aware also that this time can also be a difficult time for many. Our love and thoughts go out to those who suffer bereavement and loss, especially at this time of year. We should all extend a hand of love, friendship and support and go the extra mile by giving them our time and to be a listening ear.

Our memories of time spent with loved ones who are no longer with us here in the physical world, should be kept alive, for they are only a thought away.

Take time to look through old photographs with our family and friends, by reminiscing of times spent together helps to keep their memory alive. Our memories of our loved ones help to shape our lives, for after all we all have our own story to tell.

Have you thought to maybe call in and see your neighbour who could be spending Christmas alone? Your neighbour would be delighted that you had thought of them, to know that they are in your thoughts. Help to make this time of year truly special for those who are alone and unsure. Let the light of spirit guide you to help and encourage others who may be struggling at this particular time.
