Interview with Students from the University of Gloucestershire

A week ago John was interviewed by some students from the University of Gloucestershire. The students asked John questions about mediumship and the spirit world. Most of the students were skeptical and by the end of the talk, they seemed to have a better understanding about mediumship and thought that the certification of mediums is a good thing and reassures people that want to book readings. 

Thought Of The Day

Very often when our loved ones pass, we say we have lost them. I feel that by holding onto our memories of them, and of times spent with them, we really never lose them. 

They are only ever a thought away, and by enjoying our life’s journey each and every day we keep the very essence of our loved ones close to us. 

When our loved ones pass on, they want us to carry on doing the things we love to do, to remember them with a warm and happy heart. It is as if their thoughts and inspiration come to us on gossamer threads, giving us joy and comfort. 

I also always say mediumship isn't a cure for grief, and by delivering messages from our loved ones is a real blessing for all the people who receive messages.

Thought Of The Week

To keep your mind open, helps to keep your heart open. We believe our work as mediums is an ongoing process, and our development is always continuing. We feel it isn’t a case of reaching the finishing line, it is a progression of knowledge, understanding and learning. Sometimes when people come for readings they may have a sense of sceptism, so we say to them to keep an open mind and we say to whoever comes for a reading that if they have any questions after their reading, they are free to ask. 

For example some people feel that they have to have a belief in the afterlife for their loved ones to come through, we feel this isn’t the case. It is just keeping an open mind and an open heart and it is our hope that people that come to us for readings gain an understanding and awareness that life and love are eternal.
