Holding Back The Years

Holding back the years, it’s more than just the lyrics to a song. We all have regrets of not doing the things that we set out to do. Regret of not saying the things that we wanted to say. Very often we may get a gut feeling of wanting to help others, and not always following it through. Regret can be viewed as a word that means we are holding on to the past. Very often when loved ones come through, they may ask for forgiveness.

In our opinion, loved ones often come through wanting you to let go of what we cannot change, but they want you to live your life to the full, by doing the things that you enjoy doing. If you treat each day going forward as a new day and a new experience, knowing that to smile often attracts the same response.

A few kind words can touch someone’s heart. To be able to hug someone can mean so much. We are very blessed when we come into this world. We make our own choices, so remember this is your time now to do the things you really want to do. So stop holding back the years and start living and embrace the journey.
