Positive Thoughts

We thank you for another day on this beautiful earth. Being a part of this day, looking out of this window to see the amazing sights in front of me, something that many of us do take for granted. First the splendour of the view in full colour of the sky starting to open up to a brand new day. Knowing every day has a new beginning.

In many ways looking over the hilltops to see the sun breaking through, makes me feel good inside. I get the feeling of being energised by its gracious glory.

As I take in a deep breath and exhale, I begin to notice more and more of the beautiful surroundings. Just look how green the grass looks when it’s wet with dew, with the sun catching every glimmer, bringing out the full splendour of colour. Watching the autumn leaves falling from the trees, dancing in a flowing wind, as they fall from the trees. I was also very fortunate to be able to enjoy watching a beautiful tortoiseshell cat washing itself in full view for all to see, balancing carefully on a fence. This allowed me to have the peaceful feeling inside, bringing a thought to my mind that cats are here to show us unconditional love.

We just have to learn to let go of today’s pressures and to enjoy, for life is all about these precious moments. For some listening to lyrics from songs, pulls on their heart strings and gives them a sense of well-being.

Being true to oneself and to others, may not bring us riches as in material things, though it will fill you with being content that love and spirit can bring. A feeling of being at one with yourself and nature for there is no better feeling than this. Having peaceful thoughts and a positive mind, for these are the riches of life.

Quote of the Day

"All other things, our powers, our desires, our food, are all really necessary for our existence in the first instance. But this rose is an extra. Its smell and its color are an embellishment of life, not a condition of it. It is only goodness which gives extras, and so I say again that we have much to hope from the flowers." by Arthur Conan Doyle

About Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (22 May 1859 – 7 July 1930) was a Scottish physician and writer, most noted for his stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes, generally considered a milestone in the field of crime fiction, and for the adventures of Professor Challenger. He was a prolific writer whose other works include science fiction stories, plays and romances, poetry, non-fiction, historical novels and humours.
He found solace supporting spiritualism and its attempts to find proof of existence beyond the grave. In particular, according to some,he favoured Christian Spiritualism and encouraged the Spiritualists' National Union to accept an eighth precept – that of following the teachings and example of Jesus of Nazareth. He also was a member of the renowned paranormal organisation The Ghost Club. Its focus, then and now, is on the scientific study of alleged paranormal activities in order to prove (or refute) the existence of paranormal phenomena.

Quote Of The Day

But if you can give that to a hundred thousand people then that's a blessing." by Tony Stockwell
